BIOTÉ…

Welcome to the biosphere. I create hyper-distorted art and design based on organic, and biosynthetic matter. I use a variety of styles for my work, and primarily focus on expanding myself to develop my artistic range.I am currently readying myself to open commissions both privately and commercially, and will eventually offer my services as an album cover artist.

ABOUT

My name is Ary, and I'm a 22 year-old artist from Melbourne, Australia. I am obsessed with glitches, biotic matter, and triangles. I have an extensive interest in the natural world and what makes it tick, and seek inspiration for my art from macro to micro.I currently focus on character illustration as my full-time profession, however I am making the transition to a more commercial-oriented scene. I aim to begin offering design-work in the near future, and am looking to work on album art for musical artists.I adore collaborating and learning with others, and always seek to obtain all kinds knowledge from all facets of life. I am currently exploring video editing, and 3D modelling in After Effects and Blender respectively. For most of my hyper-distorted art, I use Procreate 5X on an iPad Pro. For my logo work and complex projects, I use Procreate 5X, combined with Illustrator and Photoshop.

COMMISSIONS

This page contains all information regarding my commission availability, commission types, and prices for my work. You can find my entire portfolio under the Gallery tab.To place an order for a commission, or recieve a quote, please either email me at [email protected] or DM me on Twitter or Instagram. You will need to have a full brief detailing what kind of work you want, deadline/s, and any reference images you want to provide to me. The more specific you are with your brief, the better I can realise your idea, so please include as MUCH information as you possibly can!I take all payments up front, in full. This is to prevent any scams, which I have dealt with plenty in the past. I can make exceptions to this with orders over $100 USD, as well as licensing deals - both of which I can organise payment plans for. If you're nervous about this rule, which I know some might be, feel free to check my T.O.S, where you can find my payment, and refund policy in full.

I can produce a range of styles in both illustration, and design. Below is a list of subject matter and styles I can confidently achieve:

- Fantasy creatures/characters
- Organic subject matter
- Mecha/robotic/synthetic subject matter
- Mandala-styled work
- Vertical symmetry-styled work
- Weapons/armour
- Semi-realism
- Abstraction
- Heavily-glitched work (My all-time favourite)
- Technology-oriented subject matter

The Commission Process

1.) After contacting me with your brief, I will send you a response as to whether I will take on your project or not. I will only reject briefs that are too vague, or out of my skill/style range. If you are asking for a quote, I will give you a precise quote that is valid for 30 days. I will also ask for an email that I can send a PayPal invoice to!2.) Once you've responded and provided an email that I can send the invoice to, I will set it up, and send it out. You will need to pay within 7 days of having it sent.3.) Once the invoice is paid, I will begin work on your project as soon as I can. I work on a queue-basis, meaning the oldest commissions are owed completed first. I cannot do rush orders, but I can do deadlines (no sooner than 14 days).4.) You will recieve the first WIP, which I will send to you watermarked. I'll explain to you the vision I am going for, and how it will tie into the brief I've been given. This WIP will look very basic, but it is essentially the most important WIP - it helps me get a feel for the composition, and where the final product's headed! You can ask for a maximum of 3 changes/revisions in this stage (3 back and forth WIPs), and any more than that will incur a $5 or $10 fee per revision depending on the commission type.5.) Once you approve of the initial compositional WIP, I will move onto 'fleshing out' the work. This involves all the details and specifications outlined in the brief provided. You can ask for a maximum of 2 changes/revisions in this stage (2 back and forth WIPs), and any more than that will incur a $10 or $20 fee per revision depending on the commission type.6.) Once the second WIP is approved, I will move onto the detailing and finalising of the work, where all minor tweaks and detailed additions will be done to ensure a fantastic finished work.7.) Once we've both agreed that the work is complete, I will send the full file to your email or through Google Drive depending on your preference!
